NPOV needed
editThe present article has interesting historic detail of the municipality -- but needs to be re-written in "encyclopedic" style, so it doesn't take the obvious point-of-view of a local civic booster, etc.
For that matter: there is no mention of the japanese imperial army's evacuation from Leyte in 1945 by way of Palompon, in the face of the returning U.S. forces -- as dramatized in the 1959 japanese film "Fires on the Plain" (Nobi).
