Best-selling game?
editI'm not sure that last paragraph about being the best selling game is actually true outside of some narrow window after launch. 75.162.253.36 (talk) 01:38, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- If there is a source to back up the claim, then I don't see why it isn't true. If there is a counter-claim, then it could be put here and the editors can evaulate it. However, considering the sequence of events, the likely-hood of being one is very low. 82.1.168.16 (talk) 15:10, 22 January 2024 (UTC)

Palwork IS an Unreal Engine 5 game.
editThe screenshot is taken with Steam build executable. It build with UE5.1
When they did the migration, it was in UE4.
You can verify that data with your own steam build executable. https://imgur.com/a/MknNel2 142.198.244.105 (talk) 22:50, 24 January 2024 (UTC)

Palworld or PokeZoo?
editOriginal heading: "Some guy deleting statements of fact" ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:57, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
Wondering why some guy keeps deleting statements of fact regarding the CLAIM palworld was being investigated (Unsubstantiated, no source) when it was actually PokeZoo (Substantiated, proof provided) that was shutdown 24.36.192.244 (talk) 19:36, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
This is about the material added in [1]. Soetermans, NegativeMP1: Thoughts? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:57, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- Reading the sources, I'm not getting the impression that they support the claim that the Nintendo statement was about PokeZoo and not Palworld. Hemiauchenia (talk) 21:14, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- Can you find a source where nintendo went after palworld? Just curious. It was also speculation. There is, however, evidence in those articles that within 5 days of the statement, Nintendo (And affiliates) had Pokezoo (Metazoo) shut down. thats verifiable. Elinias1 (talk) 21:22, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- The references, based upon "Nintendo is taking legal action against a Pokemon clone, but it ain't Palworld" is about Pokezoo, a different game. It never saw the light of day. Palworld has been accused of plagiarism by several media outlets and has sold 15 million copies. There is no reason to mention Pokezoo here and it's inappropriate and incorrect to suggest that "There is speculation Nintendo was not speaking of Palworld", when The Pokémon Company was mentioned before they have made a statement, not Nintendo. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 21:48, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- Pokemon company is a nintendo product, alongside Creatures and Gamefreak. Not one mentioned anything about Palworld . So its speculation. How is another speculation invalid, but the first...is? I'd like to see a statement made by any of the 3 owning companies or pokemon with the mention of Palworld and Investigation. Elinias1 (talk) 22:03, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- As per this, there should be an edit to the original statement. Due to the fact that its not verifiable. Not a removal, but an addendum to it stating this. Because it reads as fact...when there is no source to refer to Elinias1 (talk) 22:30, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
- https://corporate.pokemon.co.jp/media/news/detail/335.html If this is the official corporate post you are referring to, its a blanket statement that covers no company. Pokemon, and its owners, are notorious for filing lawsuits. They are probably "investigating" every game that releases on the market. there was 1 verifiable instance of Pokemon and owners going after content added to palworld by a modder, which was taken down, but its a reach to use the corporate statement as a fact. - Don't get me wrong, I am not opposed in trimming the plagiarism bit further. It definitely shouldn't be expanded by mentioning another game. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 06:53, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- Shouldn't mention pokemon. Period. Because the only 4 companies remotely capable of mentionionning palworld in this instance, didn't. it's purely speculation that they are speaking of palworld. I thought wiki was based on fact, not fiction. Elinias1 (talk) 10:39, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- Ya i figured. Its a jacked up right wing conspiracy website. Its true because we say it is (No evidence needed) Wiki has lost all reliability. Elinias1 (talk) 02:56, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
The company name does not include a space.
editThe official company name is "Pocketpair, Inc.", without a space. I had seen several versions of it myself, so I confirmed with Pocketpair (Hawkward) themselves. It is arguably stylized to "POCKET PAIR" in their logos but the officially registered name is "Pocketpair, Inc." or "Pocketpair" if you leave out the "Inc.". I can provide a screenshot of the e-mail, but you can also check the official website. Ennocb (talk) 02:24, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
- Please correct the company name. It's still incorrect. Ennocb (talk) 01:05, 31 May 2024 (UTC)

- they didnt like that information was called out as non-confirmable and had no source. So they locked it to prevent the truth from being told. Sadness. Elinias1 (talk) 04:25, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
Not an upcoming game anymore
editThe intro calls Palworld an upcoming game. It is out. 184.160.35.86 (talk) 03:12, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
- It's still in early access, it's not fully released, hence the 'upcoming'. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 08:16, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
