A fact from Pan Am Flight 841 appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 30 April 2016 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
@Username006: unfortunately what you think is immaterial when editing Wikipedia, what you need is to find and apply a reliable preferably secondary reference that says clearly what the aeroplane's registration was. If you can't find this - it is probably not worth trying to enter such detail into the encyclopaedia. Andrewgprout (talk) 06:11, 25 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Although not exactly a "source" but I saw it in the tenerife airport disaster in the picture of N736PA that it was once hijacked and later crashed and I coulld find only 2 pan am 747's hijacked. One already mentioned the reg but this one didnt. Username006 (talk) 06:42, 25 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I take that back, N736PA was hijacked in 1970 as Pan Am Flight 229 and not 841.
