This section could do with a light rework. What first pops to mind is a table, showing what genre each album was described as (with a tickbox) but that would be a bit unencyclopedic I feel. Either way, it definitely has excessive citations either way (92!) Couruu (talk) 13:39, 22 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

I'm going to suggest removing these entirely, because the influence section here should discuss the breadth of what they have been considered genre-wise. If people want to see what album has been described as what, then they could head to the album page.
For instance, the debut album page already cites the influences. So, why is it here? Pretty. Odd. does the exact same thing. So does Vices & Virtues. You get the point. Pretty much every album already specifically cites the influences. So, if people want to migrate some of the sources over to the other articles, by all means do so. But I'm going to remove them here and they should not be restored without good reason, because it has just created a complete mess. Maxx-♥talk and coffee ☕15:09, 11 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Upon my research, I have found that the founding men were not all childhood friends, as is stated in this article. Instead, some of the guys were, but other members were more recent acquaintances (like Brendan Urie, who met one of the guys at a guitar class) 38.27.128.66 (talk) 15:28, 13 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Not done: Mike Naran was a touring musician. Touring musicians can be found in the band members section of the article and that's where he is. If you are requesting that he be added to the infobox: touring musicians do not go in the infobox. The infobox is for official members only. Bowling is life (talk) 13:06, 23 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
