If accepted as a main article, I will most likely change the Flipline logo to a screenshot of gameplay, or a banner ad that Flipline is running for their games.

There's also this one, which is the two creators in their signature Papa's character design: https://theilluminerdi.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Url-2048x1536.webp Squiddyonwiki (talk) 16:53, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Platformers missing

edit

There is also the platform games Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack, and its three sequels Papa Louie 2: When Burgers Attack and Papa Louie 3: When Sundaes Attack, but only the Gamerias are listed in the article. If anyone can find a source, add the platformers to the article. Sparkbean (talk) 18:32, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Merge proposal

edit

@Squiddyonwiki: I propose merging Draft:Flipline Studios, which is a draft I created, into Papa Louie. Flipline Studios, by itself, is not notable enough, but they are mainly known for Papa Louie, which is notable. As per WP:NPRODUCT, Flipline Studios and Papa Louie should be covered in the same article. The draft article also has additional citations for the games. I absolutely think more info about Flipline Studios could be placed here. But I am a newer editor and not entirely sure.
Tbh, I almost wonder if this article might be renamed to Flipline Studios entirely? But also unsure. At first I created a draft for Papa's Pizzeria. The game alone did not stand to have enough notability, so I decided to just make a page for the franchise. But Flipline also has other games (ex: Jacksmith, Cactus McCoy, etc.) and it feels weird that they don't have a space here. Especially because there's Easter eggs in all of them. But granted, maybe they just aren't notable enough to warrant it. Squiddyonwiki (talk) 02:58, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Using Flipline as the main source?

edit

Created this article with the impression that I could not use Flipline Studios as the main source in order to prove this was relevant enough. Now that it has been accepted, I'm seeing that editors are adding a ton of information about the games as listed on the games' website and are mainly citing Flipline Studios for all of this.

Just want to be sure that all these edits fall under good editing guidelines within the Video Game community here. Really happy to see this article expanded, and would have added a lot of this info if I knew that I could cite Flipline this much. Squiddyonwiki (talk) 02:52, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Flipline Studios is a primary source, so it should be used carefully. See WP:PRIMARYCARE. EJPPhilippines (talk) 03:32, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay -- many of the fleshed out descriptions of the gamerias are from the primary source. Just want to make sure that's okay/allowed. Squiddyonwiki (talk) 00:06, 28 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Primary sources

edit

I looked at the article for The Amazing Digital Circus, and I realized that I saw some sources that cited Glitch Productions, all of which were marked as primary sources preceded by a double dagger (‡). This should be added to all the sources in this page citing the Flipline Studios website. Sparkbean (talk) 01:21, 12 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
