The day I was supposed to get an offer for a Motion designer position in the marketing department, the recruiter told me the person who was going to be my boss (the Art Director) quit. After having worked at Paper for six months. The Recruiter chalked it up to the Chief Marketing Officer eliminating all open positions under the Art Director until further notice. What happened? They were hiring people up until a week ago. And the recruiter told me the day before they’d have an answer on the offer. Did the art director keep his departure a secret? Was he knowingly interviewing prospective candidates while seeking out new employment opportunities? Did he know his departure would lead to the CMO reneging active candidates in the hiring process? And why would the CMO do that? When was the CMO not notified of the Art directors departure? These are peoples livelihoods we’re talking about here. You can’t just bait and switch people like that. We deserve an the truth. Someone has toe be held accountable. 47.197.201.104 (talk) 02:26, 24 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
