Unwarranted deletions
editYou don't like the sources? So? WP:RS. WP:Verifiability.

- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paraguayan Football Association. Puntive. Sorry to see you going through that. Spanish language sources are certainly legitimate. Given that this is the most popular professional sport in the country, it is rather like getting rid of the National Hockey League, Major league baseball, or the National Football League in America. Really? Meets WP:GNG. This article belongs in Wikipedia, the world's encyclopedia. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 13:53, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
Honours
editLooks strange to list Honours for the Paraguay national men's football team on this page in its own section like that, though we could certainly mention key highlights in the History section.
I am inclined to delete this section, as it only weakens this page to have it there when there are other points that could be covered. But I understand that this is part of an ongoing edit war, so am posting this comment here first. Cielquiparle (talk) 14:30, 30 October 2022 (UTC)
- Parking the contents of this section here for now:

List of presidents
editDo we really need a list of every president, when they were historically changing the president every year? It's a list of around 50 non-notable people, and is therefore not encyclopedic material in my opinion. As well as being longer than the useful sourced text in the article. - @Joseph2302 What concerns me more is the 2022 list of "Association staff" who are mostly non-notable. My proposed fix is to add the notable people (for now, the President, the men's coach, and the women's coach) to the infobox, and then delete that box altogether. (Still thinking about what to do about the presidents. Some of the other FA articles have lists like that.) Cielquiparle (talk) 14:28, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
- The list of presidents is consistent with the recommended template for NA from Wikiproject Football: [[1]] ResonantDistortion (talk) 15:41, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
- FWIW, I agree. I think the style recommendation should be our guide. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:44, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
- And the "association staff" could be relegated to an efn-ua note. It is useful but tangential. This would preserve the information, but relegate it to its importance in the article. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 15:49, 31 October 2022 (UTC)

Section: controversy
editControversy section removed with no explanation. Sources look WP:RS and proportionally small section so not WP:UNDUE. I have reverted the removal per WP:BRD. Discuss.ResonantDistortion (talk) 09:18, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
