If it is not a full paralysis, how is it diagnosed? Is it visible on MRI images of the spinal cord? Can a computer analysis of limb movement detect it? Helenetoile (talk) 05:08, 14 August 2008 (UTC)HeleneReply

A -paresis or -plegia is clincal diagnosis of limb weakness, not necessarily full paralysis. MRI is a diagnostic tool for the cause of weakness - it will not show weakness.
