Ganghwa

edit

Tiny note: Ganghwa needs disambiguation in the article. Will give more detailed response next week--thanks for your work on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 02:25, 19 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

My quick impression is that this looks solid. The sources are reliable, the prose is correct and clear, and it seems to give a good, concise overview of the subject's life. Since you asked for feedback, here are some suggestions:
  • "on school textbooks and patriotic songs" -- this quotation appears to need citation; I didn't see it in that WSJ article.
  • "He thus “sent a message to his family through a broker, ordering them to flee to China.”" -- it's better to just summarize and rewrite basic facts like this than to use quotations from other articles
  • "He is currently " -- it's better to avoid "currently" as a phrase that can go out of date, per WP:REALTIME--try "As of 2013,"
  • References used more than once can be condensed like this: [1]
I don't know if you've ever nominated anything at WP:DYK before, but you should definitely think about nominating the next one you write there. It gives your work some Main Page exposure, which is both fun and results in additional improvement by drawing in more editors. This one isn't quite new enough now (I think there's a 10-day limit), but keep it in mind for the future! Thanks for contributing this one. -- Khazar2 (talk) 20:18, 19 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Okay thanks, I'll make those changes. I didn't know that existed! I'm gonna post my next one there. I appreciate your help!Comatmebro ~Come at me~ 05:29, 20 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Redirect from Poison Pen (weapon)

edit

There's no real indication in the article as to why this redirection occurred. You can infer that it's related to Ahn, but it's not stated clearly. Someone following a poison pen link might be confused as to why the endpoint was an article about a person.--Cjbreisch (talk) 00:09, 15 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
