– As of her debut with STAYC, she uses the mononym Si-eun. Entertainer should be changed to Singer, as she’s now only active as a singer. 2001 should be included to distinguish her from those that share the same name. Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 17:52, 3 June 2021 (UTC)

- @Btspurplegalaxy and 162 etc.: queried move request Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:26, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- She was at Park Si-eun (entertainer, born 2001) until last February, and Park Si-eun (actress) was at Park Si-eun (actress, born 1980). I think the date disambiguation makes sense, and would like to see this reverted. Ping @St3095: who made the moves. 162 etc. (talk) 19:29, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- 162 etc. I definitely agree with the date disambiguation being done. What about changing entertainer to singer? I see that Entertainer was likely added as way to include her professions as both an actress and now a singer, but she's no longer active as an actress. Given that she's a full-time singer, I do not think it's necessary. What about her mononym? Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 20:25, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- That may need to go to RM. Personally, I see "entertainer" as a good fit (she has many film and television credits, and may very well end up doing more at some point in the future.) No opinion on the mononym. 162 etc. (talk) 21:41, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose - per WP:MONONYM - her surname is used in several places and name isn't a pseudonym. So move to mononym is not necessary. No preference on entertainer vs singer.Evaders99 (talk) 22:36, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
- Since this is now an RM, I will support a move to Park Si-eun (entertainer, born 2001), reverting back to the stable title prior to being moved without discussion. 162 etc. (talk) 00:46, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- @162 etc.: Oppose per WP:PTOPIC. Those article titles need no birth year as disambiguation. -St3095 (?) 05:10, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- In support of moving the title to Si-eun (entertainer, born 2001) but not of keeping Park Si-eun. 52-whalien (talk) 04:06, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. It is proposer's responsibility to explain why the subject needs a mononym. Link to some published sources, give us some sort of argument, something. All I see is, "As of her debut with STAYC, she uses the mononym Si-eun." We should give her a new name because she joined a band? The Korean press refers to singers in a certain style, but she hasn't changed her name. She did a drama last year as "Park Si-eun," according to Han Cinema.
- I pulled up one of the article's references at random: "하이업엔터 측 "박시은, 당사 소속이지만 전속계약은 NO"(공식입장)" (Hi-Up Entertainment side Park Si-eun belongs to our company, but no exclusive contract" (official position)). That doesn't look like a mononym to me. That the "mononym" version of the name is actually longer than the current full-name version is pretty goofy. 99to99 (talk) 01:22, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
