Gun Laws
editHello Wikiers! I'm BlatantObserver21 (you can find me here), and I added a few changes around 4:50 this afternoon. Some other users added edits that were helpful, but one was not. The "Gun laws of Florida" edit was unhelpful and politacally inclined, so I removed it. If anyone has a question about this or any other thing, please ask on this talk page.
Bye! BlatantObserver21 (talk) 23:41, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
- The wording of this is strange too "The municipality is subject to gun laws in Florida, and on February 14, 2018, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting took place in Parkland." I'm not sure why them being subject to gun laws is relevant here myself. NZFC(talk) 02:43, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
Parkland is in Broward County
editI tried to add to the Parkland wiki and failed. I wanted to stress the fact that Parkland is not a part of Miami Metro as is stated in the wiki. Parkland is in Broward County (which was stated) but followed with the erroneous Miami Metro statement. Miami is a part of Dade County, Parkland is in Broward County.
If any of you pros would make the changes that I failed to do, I would really appreciate it. (I was born and raised in Broward, Fort Lauderdale) mrclose — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrclose (talk • contribs) 02:41, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
- Disagree, it states that it is park of Broward County and is a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area. Click on that link and you will find Parklands is listed as being in the area. NZFC(talk) 02:49, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
- Also Disagree, The Miami Metropolitan Area includes Miami-Dade, Borward, and Palm Beach county. This naturally includes Parkland as it is in Broward County.--SeminoleNation (talk) 19:30, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
- Thank You for your response but as a Native South Floridian I have to say that your statement is nonsensical. Might we just as well say that Miami and all of the surrounding counties of Fort Lauderdale are a part of Broward Metro? Broward or Parland are no part of any so called Miami Metro but if you wish to make it so .. please contact the proper authorities. Your readers are supposed to come away 'informed'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrclose (talk • contribs) 00:20, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
- Unless you have reliable source that shows that this isn't the case, then Parkland will stay part of the Miami Metropolitan Area. We can't use your own knowledge of what you think is correct. NZFC(talk) 00:24, 16 February 2018 (UTC)

Opinions On This Article
editHello, fellow Wikipedians! I have noticed that there is a lot of opinionated inclination on this article. I have fixed some instances of this, but I am sure they will pop up again. What can we do to stop these opinionated edits? Any reply will be appreciated. BlatantObserver21 (talk) 22:48, 21 February 2018 (UTC)
- As humans, we all have opinions, and indeed inclinations. That does not disqualify anyone from contributing. On Wikipedia, however, we should strive to maintain a neutral point of view. You can read more about this at WP:NPOV. MPS1992 (talk) 00:01, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
