Kia ora, this is a new page and constructive feedback is most welcome.

While I did create the page, I feel it could be improved. In particular I think it needs:

More referenced information on the history of the park from 1996 until 1989. I am on the ground in the area so will attempt to find information in records of the Council at the time. Any other input would be great.
A wider variety of secondary sources for the facilities and amenities. These kinds of article run the risk of mostly having promotional material available as sources, and it would be good if there were more citations about the fitness circuit, for example.
A follow-up on suggested changes for the park that have been suggested over the years. I have noted a couple that got as far as the local board, but had difficulty finding what happened later in terms of the process they went through.
Further evidence of some of the events held there over the years. I am looking to collect a few references from the archives of a local newspaper and will add info when I get them.
Perhaps more professional photos! I took these ones, but would be very happy if better ones were added.

Anyway, this is a start and can be improved.
