Hey, I started this page early tuesday morning january 30th 2007. I fully intend on working on and expanding this article over the next few days. I wanted to get something down so that I could have a place to start from. So bear in mind this page is under construction and I'm working on finishing it before you decide to delete it. But don't let that stop you from editing/contributing. By all means, do that. I just wanted y'all to know, I've started this, but it's late, I'm tired and I'm just saving what I have for now.

So now that the page is more developed and up and running I could use some help in getting some external links and images. I feel that images and groundplans of theaters would really help illustrate the parts of the theater and their relationship to each other.
Links?
editShouldn't this list be linked? -JWGreen 17:09, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Duplicate page
editStage (theatre) appears to cover the same topic and is much more complete. Saligron 01:38, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- There is now a lot of overlap between this page and Theater (structure). That other page has a much more complete discussion of the different forms of audience areas. Larrybob (talk) 14:23, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
Page Update
editI've started to add things to this page--content and whatnot. JWGreen, I'm not sure what you mean when you say shouldn't this list be linked--linked to pages cover those topics? Or something else? If it's pages covering the same topics, I've actually noticed that a number of the articles found in the Parts of a theatre category are very short and could easily be merged with this article.
Also, Saligron I agree that much of the stuff at the beginning of the page is covered in Stage (theatre, but that page doesn't really go into the bits and pieces of the theater--that is the intention of this page. Which again, is why I think that many of the short articles from the parts of a theatre category could be merged.
references ?
editOnly one reference on this article; this should be corrected with references that are in line citations. --RichardMills65 (talk) 05:16, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
