what

edit

why does this article exist? Dostoyemingway (talk) 01:28, 9 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Because someone typed text and submitted it to Wikipedia. Can you elaborate further? - Bryn (talk) (contributions) 01:32, 9 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Notability?

edit

I get that this video game character is a 'first' in some social/sexual regards. I don't get how the notability of the character could not be rolled into the main video game article. Or is wikipedia now a collection of pages on random imagined characters that people like in books, movies, and games? Is there an official wiki policy regarding imagined character notability? Most characters are imagined. - Bryn (talk) (contributions) 08:03, 17 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'd be in favor of it remaining a standalone. According to Wikipedia's own list on the subject (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fictional_asexual_characters#Video_games), Parvati appears to be one of a very few asexual characters, and the only one listed whose identity plays a major part in her character arc, the game's plot development, and the player's decisions. She also, as author Bryn has show carefully demonstrated, generated much more media interest for her orientation than those others. WhampoaSamovar (talk) 02:20, 11 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Alright, so did a light copyedit of the article, only one major thought in the aftermath: I do feel the article could use a description of the character's appearance and design. I know they went a bit light on the concept art for this title from what I recall, but such info can be useful for the visually impaired and get a better feel of the character they're reading about.

Other than that, spot check on sources 4, 8, 14, and 16 all match up. No comments on prose as they were already tweaked. [1] showed no copyright violations ("Fap2Pixels"...seriously?...seems to have copied information from here than vice versa. What a weird thing to name a website...).--Kung Fu Man (talk) 16:33, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Kung Fu Man: I have expanded the section to include notes on her outfit (overalls and goggles), her ethnicity, and her southern drawl. - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 17:04, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
