editI believe this page could be made into a disambiguation since almost every old department store was called a "pasazh" before the war, at least in Poland. In Warsaw alone there were some 10 notable places named like this... Halibutt 17:14, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, other passages existed elsewhere, but I believe this one was *the* Passage. Every other shop in the Russian Empire sought to imitate it. See Petrovka Passage for the context. --Ghirla | talk 17:16, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I really doubt it. Especially that in Poland (all parts of it) the word Pasaż was imported from French in 18th century and most Passages sought to imitate the ones in Paris. And the very word is a common noun meaning roughly shopping mall, not a name of any particular passage. I'm not very strongly convinced on this matter though. Halibutt 12:11, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

The Passage → Passage (department store) – Firstly, as there are more than 10 articles named "The Passage" (with no connection to this department store) I'm not sure this is the primary topic. This article receives less traffic than The Passage (novel), The Passage (novel series), The Passage (Battlestar Galactica), and The Passage (1979 film), see [1]. So I propose redirecting The Passage to Passage (disambiguation). Secondly, I'm not sure the correct name in English should be "The Passage". Its official site appears to call it just "Passage", see [2]. Timmyshin (talk) 13:50, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

- Support per nom. This is nowhere close to being the primary topic. kennethaw88 • talk 06:17, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
