Possible renaming to Keolis WA

[edit]

In May-June of 2026, Path Transit renamed themselves to simply Keolis. Can we consider renaming this article to Keolis WA to match the official name change and to differentiate themselves from Keolis Downer the parent company.

Thank you. Trainandbus123 (talk) 01:07, 7 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Their official website still uses "Path Transit" and states Path Transit is a subsidiary of Keolis who is Australia’s largest private provider of multi-modal public transport. I can't see any evidence of them dropping "Path Transit" completely. Just as an extra note, it's now just called Keolis as Downer withdrew from the joint venture in March, see Keolis Australia. So does the Transperth website. Some evidence of the rename needs to be produced first. I recommend making a requested move to get the rename done. Steelkamp (talk) 01:24, 7 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
Name of the legal entity remains as Path Transit Pty Ltd..There is no evidence of Keolis Perth, Keolis WA or Keolis Western Australia having been registered as a trading name. Noritplere (talk) 01:28, 7 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
