There is a clear precedent on wikipedia that articles about persons imprisoned for drug smuggling are notable,
especially in cases like this, where it caused international diplomatic incidents. Carmen56 (talk) 03:06, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

The age of the subject needs to be articulated in years. Even if the exact age is not stated in the sources, the age limit for criminal liability to be executed in Thai law could be given, to give readers some idea of how young and immature the subject was. This article uses vague weasel words to avoid stating the subject's age. Words like "Due to her age", "minor" and "youth and immaturity" suggests the subject was far too young for the British authorities to allow her to travel overseas without parental permission and their failure to check with the parents was a contributory factor to the offending. Terms like "minor" and "youth" can mean any age between 12 and 21 years depending on the legal jurisdiction and legal context and may vary depending on both the country and type of offending concerned. Stating the specific age is more precise and informative when a birth date is not given in the article. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 13:00, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
