The result of the move request was: Moved. A tip of the hat to In ictu oculi, but the cited sources seem to be better aimed at WP:AFD. Page views are very, very persuasive. (non-admin closure) Red Slash 17:01, 25 May 2013 (UTC)
– The current occupant of "Patrick Corbin" is a stub for a subject which I personally do not believe is notable enough to warrant his own Wiki page, and has no inline citations (the only external link is a primary source). "Patrick Corbin (baseball) is currently the more notable subject, especially when considering google searches and page views (1,123 vs. 84). A disambiguation page is not necessary per WP:TWODABS. - Support I think a better way to look at page views is not just for May (nine days in the books), but the numbers for the past 30 days (4492 vs. 327) and past 90 days (6936 vs. 716). Also, you're right that the dancer may not meet GNG, while the baseball player certainly does. Full disclosure: I'm the one who created this page. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:33, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
- Support Especially when you consider the dancer's page was created by an SPA (User:Staceyjomarine) with a COI. [1][2][3][4] Woodshed (talk) 17:41, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
- I hadn't taken the time to look yet, but I was thinking that article might deserve AfD. That cursory look into its history backs it up. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:44, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
- Strong support per above. AutomaticStrikeout (T • C • Sign AAPT) 17:57, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
- Doesn't anyone check Google Books any more? - sorry, but look at who "Patrick Corbin" is in printed sources and then consider who is primary... In ictu oculi (talk) 01:23, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- also, I have matched this with notifying WikiProject Dance. In ictu oculi (talk) 03:51, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- I said that was a "cursory" look. Google Books shows a couple of mentions in one publication, not necessarily sufficient to meet GNG, and certainly not enough to make him the primary topic of the name. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:24, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- Muboshgu, sorry but what exactly is "cursory" about this result?, even allowing for the 542 results tailing out on page 7, Google Books shows only 41 results for "Patrick Corbin" + baseball. Searching "patrick corbin is" "patrick corbin was" only brings up the dancer, indicating contextual mentions not merely hits in team lists. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:06, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- The "cursory" look was at Google News, not Google Books. A lot of those Google Books results are questionable. This one seems to be the Wikipedia article, and this one seems to be a playbill by his dance company, so not independent of the subject. – Muboshgu (talk) 00:26, 22 May 2013 (UTC)

- Oppose - proposal clearly fails WP:PRIMARYTOPIC in WP:IRS print sources. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:06, 22 May 2013 (UTC)

I realize this was just nominated yesterday, so I will probably wait until a little later on to review this. TCN7JM 12:27, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
- Wow, that is quick. By all means wait a little while. It wasn't until I was walking home yesterday that I realized I neglected to even look up anything on his personal life. I just found this and I'm going to add this today. – Muboshgu (talk) 13:37, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
Alright, starting my review.
- The last sentence in the Early life section reads weirdly. It says that he liked basketball, but then immediately switches subjects to mention his favorite baseball team.
- No notable stats from his stint in Visalia?
Hm. Not much more to comment on here. Great effort. This will go on hold. TCN7JM 02:45, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
Thanks. I'll get to it by tomorrow. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:20, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, both of those items are fixed. I added his ERA for Visalia (only 26 innings pitched there, so W-L record would be insignificant), and reworded the early life sports bits to separate the sports. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:02, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
- Alright, looks great. I will pass the article now. Nice job! TCN7JM 15:06, 20 August 2013 (UTC)
