There's an oddity with Stewart's dates in office. The History of Parliament has him ending his term on 20/10/1846, and dying 30/10. However, contemporary newspapers seem to imply that he was still MP at his death, and Craig's list of by-elections has the vacancy caused by death. I suspect this means 20/10 is a typo but thought I'd note it here for future reference. Andrew Gray (talk) 22:25, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
