This is actually confusing, I noticed Sports2021 moved this article to use the more Slovene-like surname format, but I can't confirm it to be completely consistent in a Google search of Slovenian websites[1]

So this sounds like it's conventionally known in Slovenia that this is not a native surname, but even his father is so well settled that it's not hard to find more native-sounding references him, and the son is Slovenian-born, so the Olympic Committee carries the local spelling and doesn't care? --Joy (talk) 09:20, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
