Talk:Paul Foster Case

Original note: So far this is just the beginnings of a brief sketch based on information available from lvx.org and bota.org. It needs to be finished and fleshed out.

1/4/2005: So more of the fleshing out has been done. It remains to add in the references to bits of Case's history. Lee Moffit's bio-page on Case does have some cryptic footnotes that could be used. But they wouldn't meet wiki standards.

Some of the links off of Case's page also need to be filled in.

The portions of Case's work that have fallen into the public domain could be added to the wikibook collection and links could be added (Kybalion, TIRO, his magazine articles Secret Doctrines of the Tarot, etc.)

Adding some photographs would be nice too. Does anyone know who hold the copyright on the original photos kept at bota.org? I know they're used elsewhere, but Wiki's standard prohibits copyrighted material without license.

I have some photos of Paul Case and will scan and upload one or two to the page. I also have access to biographical information that is distinct from Lee Moffitt's outline and will endeavor to flesh out some details as time permits. Perseverantia 19:06, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have removed the previous long discussion on Critical Thinking as it seemed redundant after moving the section on Master R to a new "Alleged Influence" section in the article.Horsechestnut (talk) 05:14, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

The name of the man who probably wrote The Kybalion with Paul Foster Case is William Walker Atkinson, not William A. Atkinson, as we can see on the main page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bruno.carnaes (talkcontribs) 20:09, 20 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

The section about Master R and the Theosophical Tradition is far too long, in my opinion. It is almost as long as the biography of Paul Foster Case itself. I suggest a short summary, letting people read the wikipedia article about Theosophy themselves via the highlighted link earlier in the Significant Influences section. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Horsechestnut (talkcontribs) 20:32, 12 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I have added references to a recent biography of Case, so one can at least look the points up. I have also added reference to some of Case's lessons that were published in book form. Whitjr (talk) 19:01, 17 February 2016 (UTC) whitjr 17feb16Reply
