Marxist Historiography
editPaul Preston is a Marxist Historian but I not find in this article any reference to his investigation methodologies or a line of thought. Is interesting to note that his master was the historian Herbert Southworth, known Komintern agent.

Spanish Civil War
editI’m currently doing research on Italian and German intervention in the Spanish Civil War. I’ve been searching for the book named in the article, i.e. ‘The Spanish Civil War’, but I’ve only been able to find ‘La Guerra Civil Española’ (published by Debolsillo). The closest thing to ‘The Spanish Civil War’ that I’ve seen in English is ‘A Concise History of the Spanish Civil War’ (published by HarperCollins).
Is ‘A Concise History of the Spanish Civil War’ the book referred to or is ‘The Spanish Civil War’ only available in the Spanish translation?
I’d be very grateful if someone could clarify this for me.
Thank you.
[April 29, 2008] This information is easily available online, e.g., at the mentioned Prof. Preston's webpage at LSE or at any online bookseller. I have amended the book title and included a newer publication from 2006. However, the previous quoted sentences should be checked, or perhaps just erased, since they referred to a book that apparently does not exist (or its title was given incorrectly).

"La Guerra Civil Española"
Confusion regarding the equivalence between English and Spanish versions may come from there being updated editions. For example, The Spanish Civil War : reaction, revolution and revenge / Paul Preston. --Alan (talk) 16:19, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

Apologies
editGreetings User 144.100.96.81 - Sorry for rolling back your edit to Paul Preston. I meant to undo it but hit the wrong tag. Be that as it may, in compliance with Wikipedia guidelines, the deletion stands - the statement is subjective and unsourced. Franco 'Not a Fascist' Quote
editThe quote about Franco not being a fascist "but something much worse..." is from the prologue of "The Spanish Holocaust". I'd add the reference but I'm not sure how to do it properly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.204.16.69 (talk) 00:01, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
