It is not a secret that Pauline McLynn has been named in connection with the injunction ETK in the Irish media. When I added this to the article, the aim was not to invade privacy, but to prevent incorrect information from being added to other articles about actors and television personalities (this has happened). The current information in the Irish media about ETK is correct and therefore not defamatory. However, there should be a wider debate about whether it is suitable for the article.--♦IanMacM♦(talk to me)14:59, 7 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I didn't get back to you on this but decided to wait on developments and to learn more about the editing process. I have posted elsewhere. I took notice of the issue of undue emphasis, and from this had concerns about errors and omissions from the bio. I could offer some substantial edits to improve it, have good quality sources but no experience of citation. Can you help, advise or suggest a good tactic ?--Egonb (talk) 20:19, 13 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I have been cross-checking on sources, looking for consistency rather than copying. I will get to work on this and try out a rough sketch in this space if that conforms to acceptable practice. Unsure about copyright issues but can be explicit about sources, and request help with citations. --Egonb (talk) 02:38, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
