Some edits
editThe 1905 construction date for the house was an error that seems to have originated with the National Register nomination and has been repeated on the Marist College website and elsewhere. The deed history for the property shows that Payne did not acquire the estate until 1909. The deed history is listed on this website: http://academic2.marist.edu/foy/esopus/deeds_2010.html
There is duplication with the page Col. Oliver Hazard Payne Estate. Should these two be merged? (NR nom is cited on this page, but the link doesn't seem to work) Cestertonio (talk) 22:55, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

Please help me with merge
Please help me merge Col. Oliver Hazard Payne Estate with Payne Mansion because we have 2 pages for the same house. Thanks.E.M.Gregory (talk) 17:25, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

- Since the Col. Oliver Hazard Payne Estate article had basically the same content but better references and formatting, there was nothing to merge, and I merely turned this page into a redirect to the other article. Huon (talk) 17:48, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
