Any comments about whether this article should be merged with Peach (disambiguation)?? 66.245.77.58 22:33, 21 September 2004 (UTC)Reply

  • I don't think it really needs to be merged... while "Peaches" is the plural form of "peach", everything listed here (besides the link to the fruit itself) is a proper noun that is actually singular. A link to here should probably be run from Peach (disambiguation) to here, but I don't see the need to combine pages. Kevyn 23:54, 27 September 2004 (UTC)Reply

PeachesPeaches (disambiguation) – Clear plural primary topic; move this disambiguation page so that the title can redirect to Peach. bd2412 T 18:24, 14 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

That's 8.6x more views for the musician than the dab page. Also - there are currently three articles that link to Peaches. 1 is for peaches; 2 are for Peaches. So editors are more likely to link to the musician, and readers are more likely to be looking for the musician. Ideally, the musician would be the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "Peaches". Short of that, though, the separate dab is probably a decent situation. Dohn joe (talk) 02:07, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
What about views for peaches the fruit? This is why we don't use page views via redirects at the expense of common sense. Please run a "peaches are" search in Google Books and tell us what percent refer to the Canadian singer. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:37, 15 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hmm, two mildly interesting things here... First, Dohn joe, I don't think it's necessary to say "!support"--you are actually supporting or opposing in a discussion, even though we don't actually vote   Also, In ictu oculi, I'm pretty confident that no one would ever say (when talking about a single musician) "Peaches are" but rather "Peaches is", which (of course) receives almost no relevant results--but there is at least one!
