File:Peacock Flounder Bothus mancus in Kona.jpg to appear as POTD soon
editHello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Peacock Flounder Bothus mancus in Kona.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on February 14, 2012. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2012-02-14. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :) Thanks! —howcheng {chat} 09:38, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
Distribution
editIs not complete. I have seen them in the Caribbean, so they must be in the warmer parts of the Atlantic too. (Anse Chastenet reef, St Lucia to be specific) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.138.45.147 (talk) 09:48, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
- Other people saw them there too: [1]; plus google for loads of other examples. 86.138.45.147 (talk) 09:54, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Hallo, delighted to see such a wonderful example of camouflage by changing colour... I've used the new image to replace the rather dull flounder we had as our example before. Great improvement! Added a link here, too. Chiswick Chap (talk) 16:49, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
