His name is actually spelt Pearce though there has been many mis-spellings of his name. He was a straight "a" student in st. nathys college ballaghaderreen and his favourite subject was mathematics. His favourite teacher was mr. foy and he in turn was mr. foys favourite student.
As well as loving gaelic football, pearce enjoys backgammon, scrabble, chess and was the irish junior mastermind champion in 2004. He has been quoted saying that "resiting shakespeares great speeches before big football matches motivates him in the same way as rocky would to the average man".
