Demographics/ethnicity table

edit

Ethnicity information has been repeatedly added to this article along with the assertion that the information is sourced, but no source has been provided. If this information exists in a reliable source then that source needs to be provided along with the information. Thanks, Shearonink (talk) 05:29, 12 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

The ethnic information/content is lacking reliable sources specific to its claims. Information in Wikipedia articles needs to be verified from reliable sources. The "Ancestry" subsection is lacking a specific source to back up its asserted information. Assuming good faith for now I am leaving the information as is in the article to give the editor/s adding it a chance to correct the situation - otherwise it should be removed. Again. Adding unsourced claims and assertions is against the Wikipedia principle and policy of verifiability. These unsourced claims about the ethnographic makeup of Pearl River County were marked as needing sources back in May and were subsequently removed. Editors cannot just add whatever they want to Wikipedia because they want to or because they think that information is true - SOURCE YOUR STATEMENTS FROM WP:RELIABLE SOURCES. Otherwise they will be removed as pure vandalism. Discuss these edits here if you wish. Shearonink (talk) 03:53, 19 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
