Removal of content/vandalism
editThe article has been nominated for protection twice (once declined, currently awaiting result from admins). Please remember that a "principle" (that's P-L-E, not P-A-L) is an assumption or rule, as in "We follow principles of respect.", as opposed to "principal" (that's P-A-L, not P-L-E), as in "Mr. Jones is the school's principal." Let's use the correct word, vandals. —Mr. E. Sánchez (that's me!)What I Do / What I Say 22:19, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Removal of text from introduction
editI removed the text, "(Menéndez also ordered the execution of over 300 survivors of a French shipwreck because they were Protestants, at a site slightly to the south of St. Augustine.)" because it is not germane to this article about a school. The school wasn't named for him because he "ordered the execution of over 300 survivors". That information belongs in the biographical article, Pedro Menéndez de Avilés.
