Signifigant Others
editThe signifigant others and age are written in the infobox, but they do not show up. --Glimmer721 (talk) 18:40, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- "Significant" was spelled wrong, which is why it wasn't showing up, and the Age parameter has been removed from the character infobox. Andrea (talk) 19:01, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
False information
editI am entirely certain that the "bags of flour" were 100 pounds, not 50 pounds. Although I would much rather not edit the page, only to make a fool of myself later on. Could anyone with a copy of the first book please confirm which of the two it is? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.8.105.210 (talk) 22:04, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
- "'What about you? I've seen you in the market. You can lift hundred-pound bags of flour,' I snap at him." -pp. 89-90. :) Andrea (talk) 22:58, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
--99.144.170.197 (talk) 00:27, 5 March 2012 (UTC) I read through and yes, it is hundred pound.
usage of critical review section
editI would rather remove this section, or else include several sources, not just Entertainment Weekly. I would also try to focus on reviewers who are more well-known or respected, and certainly reviewers who have actually read the book. Are there any thoughts on this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluetooth2kus (talk • contribs) 00:41, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
- Well, the reviewer did read the book. If you can find more reception in reliable sources, then by all means add it. Glimmer721 talk 16:03, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

In the end of Mockingjay, it is said that Peeta convinces Katniss to have children. The is no reference to that in the Wikipedia page. KoolKellyGreen (talk) 01:14, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
- Already done The last paragraph mentions them having two children. Salvidrim! 02:59, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

In the part of the article where it describes Peeta's role in the books by Suzanne Collins (specifically Mockingjay), it fails to tell Peeta's role in the epilogue. "In the epilogue, Peeta marries Katniss and they share a life together in the rebuilt District 12. Later they have two children, a boy and a girl." Please add this information. Thank you.
Character Background change
editI, on behalf of a group, made a change to this section. We felt that it focused a little to much about Katness and wanted to refocus the attention back to Peeta. Tell us (through me) what you think about this change, — Preceding unsigned comment added by UnseenShinigami (talk • contribs) 03:36, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
I also have Character Background suggestions, on behalf of a group formed at a college in Minnesota. . . might help add to the content of the page. Thoughts before I edit the page? See below. (Sources provided if needed)
The fictional character Peeta Mellark, played by Josh Hutchinson is featured in Suzanne Collins’ movie trilogy, The Hunger Games. Peeta is a baker’s son portrayed as a rugged but warm boy quickly growing into a man given his rocky, harsh environment.
The annual Hunger Games features 12 tributes selected from each of the districts which are brought forth to contend each other until one lone victor survives. Peeta being a chosen tribute is trawled into a constant fight for survival with his peers. Nervous but equipped with skills Peeta has the ability to camouflage in battle, a skill he learned during his many years working in a bakery and a bullish strength which the book and movie depict through him hauling flour and massive items used in baking. This contributed to Peeta’s impressive ability to guard himself during the annual Hunger Games. Collins describes Peeta as "medium height with a stocky build"D and “ashy blonde hair that falls in waves over is forehead".D https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Peeta_Mellark&action=edit§ion=7#
In Suzzanne Collins’ first of three books, Peeta Mellark shows he has a way with people by engaging with the cheering crowds as he first arrives to the capital as a tribute of the annual hunger games. Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), Peeta's mentor throughout the games, reacted to this moment by saying "He knows what he's doing". D As the Hunger Games near, Mellark confesses a "crush", as Collins describes it in the book, on Katniss Everdeen (jennifer lawrence). Katniss Everdeen is depicted as a vital ally from District 12 within the character Peeta Mellark's journey. His character grows closer to Katniss throughout the story and proceeds to act in a manner that shows protection of her. Despite his real and sincere feelings for Katniss, the two are forced to prove to the public of a romance between them in order to win the hearts of the Capital (home to the Hunger Games. With the denial of any real romance from Katniss, the trilogy pulls the reader on a bumpy romance between the two. Peeta Mellark is engaged in the fight for both love and survival in the Trilogy of The Hunger Games. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Giftdestruction (talk • contribs) 03:41, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- I find it odd that two different groups of people came up with the exact same words.--☾Loriendrew☽ ☏(talk) 03:49, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
We are both from the same group User talk:UnseenShinigami —Preceding undated comment added 01:50, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
My group felt there was no need for a "character background" section because others did not have it, such as Jack Sparrow and Katiness. Instead, we edited the current background and moved that to the introduction. — Preceding unsigned comment added by UnseenShinigami (talk • contribs) 21:29, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

I found a picture of Josh Hutcherson being interview for Catching fire. I searched google with the restriction of free-use images and for the US only. Can this work for photo? — Preceding unsigned comment added by UnseenShinigami (talk • contribs) 21:57, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

Here are links to sources; http://thehungergames.wikia.com/wiki/Willow_Mellark and http://thehungergames.wikia.com/wiki/Rye_Mellark Should we add this information to Peeta's article. Thanks. Hogwartsfanzone(talk) 18:48PM 13 April (UTC)
- A wikia is not a valid source.--☾Loriendrew☽ ☏(talk) 18:08, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
Actually I think Suzanne somehow did reveal the names as Williow and Rye because entertainment weekly did a trivia quiz pole on it. The source is probably just hard to find. It's probably just possible the source could of Been released before it was suppose to be released. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.49.119.37 (talk) 19:16, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
