edit- Peles Castle is Vlad Tepes'castle. It was the royal residence under Vlad Tepes' reign. The latter is notorious for chasing the Ottomans out of Romania with an uncommon cruelty. He is well known for piling them up on stakes.
The Castle was built in the 19th century. Vlad Tepes lived long before that. Bran Castle [1]is said to be Tepes' castle. Bogdan | Talk 12:59, 17 Jan 2004 (UTC)

S-comma
editS-comma is the correct way, but it is incompatible with most of the computers/browsers today. By default, IE 6.0 on Windows displays it as a "box" and some linux distributions have problems, too... bogdan 07:43, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
Trivia
editThe castle appeared in the film "The Brothers Bloom" as the home of Penelope. Is there a way to include this in the article? I wrote trivia, because "filmography" would be a bit overrated for this is it's first film.MorLhack (talk) 08:57, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- Instead of a "Trivia" section, you might want to consider using a heading like "In popular culture" to put this information under. Complexityhighlights (talk) 03:28, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
