Bias against Robert Moses

I removed the biased tone of this article which used a blatantly opinionated website as a reference, and it was instantly reverted, simply because there was a link supporting it. Robert Moses was not looking to destroy neighborhoods by upgrading the parkway, but was perceived to be doing so later in his career by his detractors. Also, his career was not "basically over in the late 1950s." In fact he was still able to carry out various projects well into the 1960's. He still was able to built the Throgs Neck Bridge, Verrazano Narrows Bridge, the 1964 New York World's Fair, the third bridge along the Robert Moses Causeway, and other projects throughout the Tri-State Area. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 03:15, 9 June 2019 (UTC)

The source as it exists is a biased source. Can't you see that? Look at the years those other four projects were made, and you'll at least realize the inaccuracy of his career being over by the 1950's. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 22:00, 9 June 2019 (UTC)

Also as I told you before, this is an encyclopedia. Your opinion is irrelevant. Sources are all that matters. Find sources and write copy to make the article more neutral if you like, but removing sourced content is inappropriate. John from Idegon (talk) 22:12, 9 June 2019 (UTC)

Over by the 1950's? Think again (http://www.nypap.org/preservation-history/robert-moses/#moses1). And what about neighborhoods like Bayside, Queens? That had the Clearview Expressway built through it, and it didn't decline(https://www.nytimes.com/1996/08/04/realestate/a-high-quality-of-life-within-the-city.html). There are also sources in the article on The Bronx (After 1914) suggesting that the decline of the Bronx predated the existence of the Cross Bronx Expressway, and therefore makes the notion that highway improvements cause the decline of neighborhoods to be little more than a belief. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 23:31, 9 June 2019 (UTC)

DanTD, I have removed both of these unsourced paragraphs. The tone of these paragraphs was questionable and the text was not supported by the single source provided. DanTD, you can feel free to add back the content as long as it's neutral and reliably sourced. The deletions were neither sourced nor neutral, hence your concern about the tone. There are numerous Good Articles in the NY Roads and NYC WikiProjects that talk about Moses's contributions without being biased. epicgenius (talk) 17:33, 30 December 2019 (UTC)
