Improving the Penarth Group
edit@Trilotat: Since the Rhaetic Beds article has been redirected, it makes sense to move the discussion here. I think there are some basic things that should improved with this article and the Westbury Formation and Lilstock Formation articles. I think major points that need improving are:
- Basic lithological information and stratigraphic relationships, which can be gained by adding information from the BGS Lexicon of Named Rock Units, which should be some of the first search results when looking up the formation online.
- History of Research
- Images: While the image of the polished stromatolite is pretty, I think an image of a quarry or cliff face exposure would be much better. Photos of these might be available at Geograph and can be automatically uploaded to wikicommons using Geograph2Commons
- Paleontological information, which can be added from the paleobiology database or fossilworks.
I have already improved the infoboxes, which I did a year ago, so that isn't needed Hemiauchenia (talk) 16:38, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
