Name change?
editHaving added some additional material to help brings naming of rock units up-to-date I realise that there is a question as to whether this article should be moved to 'Pennant Sandstone' or 'Pennant Sandstone Formation' rather than the now formally obsolete 'Pennant Measures'. There are arguments for and against - traditional terms tend to be better known but are likely to become less familiar as the more newly established terms gain traction over a period of years. Similar arguments pertain to various other parts of the British Carboniferous succession (and indeed rather more widely I guess). cheers Geopersona (talk) 20:25, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
