Timeline on Stephen Hills
editYou should check out the timeline on http://cpc.state.pa.us/cpcweb/hist_hills.jsp There were two different calls for designs in 1816 and 1819 and Hills won the later. The celeb architects submitted too expensive proposals earlier. Hills got his foot in the door with a remodeling of the Dauphin County Courthouse in 1810 in preparation for the move to be the first true Harrisburg capitol. I would make these changes but I'm not as familiar with Pennsyvlania history.Americasroof (talk) 15:34, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
