editWhen looking at the NET for this solid, I count 20 red triangles and 60 yellow triangles (12 pentagons X 5 triangles per pentagon.) That would make a total of 80 triangular faces, yet the article states 72 faces both in the body and in the sidebar. Where am I wrong, or is the article wrong? Wrong picture?
editThe top image shows 20 sides on tbe front half of the polyhedron, meaning the back half must have 60 sides...?!? Skintigh (talk) 02:45, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
- I count 20 yellow (including two visible as slivers) and 7 red. Perhaps the view is from a finite distance, rather than orthographic. —Tamfang (talk) 21:47, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
Incorrect render
editIn the second rendering of the solid, in the construction section, when comparing with a subdivided icosahedron: the groups of yellow triangles appear flat. This would mean that not all vertices are the same distance from the centre. Compare with the main diagram at the top of the article. Evariste1832 (talk) 01:24, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
