@Denisarona: There are several reasons to prefer interlanguage links to linking directly to a Wikipedia article in a different language. First and foremost, it does not obfuscate that the link leads to a different-language version of Wikipedia. Moreover, if the article is created here at English-language Wikipedia, the link to the English-language article already exists at this article, rather than it being necessary to keep track of whether the article has been created and adjust the link manually. WP:REDLINKS are a feature, not a bug: they indicate to editors that an article does not yet exist but could and should be created. TompaDompa (talk) 16:44, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
