This is not a virus, right? Maybe the external link should be displayed as "Description of pathogen" or "Description of disease"
- P. Marinus is apparently not a virus but is a protozoan organism (considerably more colloquially: it is a single cell, it is not a strand of RNA). I have modified the External links considerably. 67.86.73.252 (talk) 23:36, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Taxobox
editI think this article might look nice if it had a taxobox template. The irony is that the classification of P. Marinus is apparently still the subject of debate, hence trying to classify this organism via a wiki template is all the more challenging. In order to leave some proposal behind I'll leave this crude attempt here to allow others to help fill in the blanks better than I have done, before transferring it over to the article: 67.86.73.252 (talk) 00:46, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Link
editIf a user searches "Dermo" can we make it redirect here? Gibby is gibby (talk) 19:13, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds find to me. See WP:REDIRECT for how to do this, and ask if you have any questions. Kingdon (talk) 15:55, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks to Gibby for the helpful redirect. Would anyone want to start the Haplosporidium nelsoni article (or re-introduce illustrations to this article)? By the way, MSX is already a page on another topic and MSX (disambiguation) also exists, hence an analogous redirect of MSX to Haplosporidium nelsoni should not be done tried in my opinion (but once the article is started the link on the dab page could be updated). 67.86.73.252 (talk) 23:24, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback! I could start a page about MSX, I have alot of information on the subject but i might have to ask you a few questions about formatting. It'll probably take me a few days to get started on the page though. Gibby is gibby (talk) 13:30, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
Genus
editThis page has a considerable about of information relating to the genus rather than exclusive to the species P marianus. This probably needs a new page for itself.DrMicro (talk) 22:20, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
