The Song Festival has never been part of the Russian New Year traditions, its individual songs were part of the New Year traditions, as nostalgic and were sung at retro festivals, but the full-fledged program has never performed for the New Year, you probably confused it with the blue light, which is part of the New Year traditions since Soviet times Цйфыву (talk) 11:15, 19 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
