editSince there are now some citations on the pet insurance page, should the tag asking for citations be removed to clean up the page a little? Loveyourpet (talk) 17:07, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
- Most of those references did not provide appropriate support for the claims being made. But there is one that is fairly reasonable so I removed the others and updated the unreferenced tag. -- SiobhanHansa 03:18, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, I'll see if I can find some additional references that are more valuable. Loveyourpet (talk) 15:41, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Pet Insurance Associations
editThe North American Pet health Insurance Association The Pet Health Insurance industry is growing rapidly. Like in any other industry, with this comes increased challenges. As such, the founders of the pet health insurance industry came together to set standards and provide for independent surveys of service. We want to be an independent source for pet consumers, the press and shoppers interested in pet insurance for their pets to be able to discern what pet insurance should be providing. As founding members, we want all pet insurers, who qualify to become members and help us set the highest professional and ethical standards for providing pet insurance.
Mission
NAPHIA is committed to educating and promoting to North American pet owners, the general public, and the veterinary industry, the values and benefits of pet health insurance.
NAPHIA is a freestanding body, comprised of reputable and experienced pet health industry professionals. As a self-governing, self-regulating and self-supporting organization, we are committed to advancing our industry through pooling resources, sharing information, and working together to identify and address challenges and opportunities.
Goals
Association members will work collaboratively towards establishing and maintaining universal and professional standards for terminology, best practices, quality, and ethics in the pet health industry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Loranhickton (talk • contribs) 01:35, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

WPDogs Rating
editJust a quick note to say that I would have rated this as a C class were it not for the lack of references given. Miyagawa (talk) 11:17, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Recommendations for future improvements
editHello! I was improving this article as an assignment. They are some parts in my draft (sandbox) that I could not keep working on them. I recommend adding more neutral information based on more subtopics about pet insurances. The article could have information about insurance for guide dogs, guide horses, and more. Also, there is more information about the owner of a pet that could be added to the draft too. I appreciate your attention. --NRC2020UPRC (talk) 19:54, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
