Afrikaans poet, not Italian poet

edit

The first version of this page called Blum an "Italian poet". The phrase could mean either a poet of Italian nationality, which is already clear from his birthplace, or a poet who wrote in Italian, which is not the case. The remainder of the article makes it abundantly clear that Blum wrote all his poetry in Afrikaans. It would be wrong to call him an Afrikaner poet, but "Afrikaans poet" is factual.

The material on Blum's rejection by South Africa could be augmented by a sentence on Blum's subsequent rejection of South Africa. Kannemeyer's book, as far as I remember, mentions that after emigrating to London, he regularly wrote bitter, sarcastic letters to Afrikaner writers such as D.J. Opperman. 105.226.57.189 (talk) 08:07, 30 July 2015 (UTC) DirkReply
