biographical information

edit

I don't know how to do it, or I would do it, but I suggest that this article needs more biographical information, or a better link than to Catholic Online.12:50, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

What type of 'better' link would you suggest? March 21st, 2008.

'venerated by Lutherans'?

edit

I followed the link, which goes to the article on Lutheranism, and there was nothing there to support this claim. I'm not even sure what it means to say Lutherans 'venerate' him, and (say) Anglicans don't. Support please!

Birth date added

edit

I added Peter Claver's birth date according to this link. It should be okay now. --Angeldeb82 (talk) 21:32, 7 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Eponymous chivalric order

edit

If someone can be a "Knight of Peter Claver" I suppose this means there is a chivalric order connected to his name? __meco (talk) 10:05, 15 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's not a chivalric order in the historical sense. The KoPC is a Catholic fraternal order. [www.kofpc.org]

ferverino at the end

edit

as much as I love St Peter Claver, is the ferverino at the end appropriate for Wikipedia? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 21:09, 9 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not at all. I've removed it, as well as scattered bits of unencyclopedic piety scattered throughout the article. carl bunderson (talk) (contributions) 23:31, 9 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
