editOriginal stub adapted from the dustjacket of the cited book. Not sure if there's a better way to cite that. Dustjacket was actually written by a Doris Borowsky.

editIs there any published or authoritative reference that might substantiate the following paragraph?
"While Capstick's name frequently comes up in the same breath as Hemingway's and Ruark's in discussions of influential African hunting authors, some have questioned the truthfulness of his writings. Capstick has been accused of embellishing his stories--frequently to the point of outright fabrication--and of retelling the adventures of others as if they had happened to himself. Nonetheless, his abilities as a riveting storyteller and creative (if somewhat folksy and informal) prose stylist are beyond dispute."
Unless this can be provided, I believe that the paragraph should read: "Capstick's name frequently comes up in the same breath as Hemingway's and Ruark's in discussions of influential African hunting authors. But like all good storytellers, some have questioned Capstick's use of "literary license" in embellishing his stories. Nonetheless, his abilities as a riveting storyteller and creative (if somewhat folksy and informal) prose stylist are beyond dispute. Srlevine1 (talk) 02:06, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
- The description of his writing style and reputation as you've discussed are horrendously NPOV; I've corrected. Also added a couple of tags and done a quick clean-up.PacificBoy 06:35, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
