John Kerry
editIs there a reason why the Spoony, Sven and Hooton pic goes to the JohnKerry website? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.21.101.250 (talk) 18:27, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
I just noticed that too, still the same - strangely it goes to a particulary page on the JohnKerry website too. As that was over 6 months ago I removed the link, if someone can fix it they can put it back. Scatterkeir (talk) 01:42, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

"Peter Hooton: I was in the section on the opposite section to the curve that collapsed, where the wall collapsed, so I wasn’t particularly an eyewitness to what started it, but it just seemed to be minor scuffle and minor skirmishes, you’d seen it a hundred times before in every ground in every country. I’ll tell you what, twenty police from the Anfield Road would have sorted that out in 30 seconds and I know that for a fact." About Heysel, may 1985.
I think this is stupid stupid things too say. How can you know things for a fact? You weren't even in that stand. Everythings minor too you, but the rest of Europe think otherwise. Look at the tv-pictures for chr sake. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.39.241.118 (talk) 12:53, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Hooton's age
editThere is a factual error regarding Peter Hooton's age and where he spent his childhood.
He was not born in 1962, but sometime between 1954 and 1959. I know because I was his friend and neighbour as a young boy. I was born in 1959, Peter was a few years older than me, but not as old as my brother (Eddie Ormsby) who was born in 1954. Hence, 1954-59.
Peter did not 'spend his childhood in Anfield/Everton' (IE. central Liverpool) Peter spent most of his childhood in Old Roan, a some 8 miles out, as did I. He lived on Altway (a main road in Old Roan) with his parents and elder sister Marion. I lived in Bullbridge Lane 5 mins walk away. Ask him! Mike Ormsby (talk) 17:33, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

editThis guy is awesome i contacted him via twitter and told him that when i was a small boy i saw him on mtv and super channel and he retweeted this post
plus i asked him about his age and he indeed was born 1962. Look at him on the video of ALL TOGETHER NOW or GROOVY TRAIN he was not 36 or 37 years old when the videos where shot
he looked very young and he was in his in his 20s i guess like he said via TWITTER — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.2.134.94 (talk) 15:39, 16 December 2015 (UTC)
