Apparently false information

This article states that Peter Swales has written books. Swales has written numerous papers, but no books, at least not as far as I know. Skoojal (talk) 05:50, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

former assistant to the Rolling Stones

I understand that "former" is technically unnecessary, because, when you're dead, everything you've done is "former." But "former" was a quotation from the cited article, so I have reinstated it and included it in the quotation. Using "former" is important so that the sentence does not appear to equate Swales' lifelong and prominent work as a historian with his youthful work for the Rolling Stones. If the Rolling Stones were a less famous rock group, then Swales' work with them wouldn't even be worth mentioning.Maurice Magnus (talk) 10:06, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
