Solicitor
editDid he not requalify as a solicitor after leaving politics, having been a barrister earlier in life?Paulturtle (talk) 06:07, 4 December 2017 (UTC)
- His House of Lords biography indicates that he was a solicitor from 1989, and this source says that he "was a barrister before requalifying as a solicitor". The blurb on his autobiography says that he was a practising solicitor from 1989. Verbcatcher (talk) 01:59, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'd slightly misremembered it. Perhaps worth adding to the article.Paulturtle (talk) 19:34, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
