The result of the move request was: page moved to Peter Worsley (sport shooter). TonyBallioni (talk) 05:46, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
Peter Worsley (shooter) → Peter Worsley (Paralympian) – The term "shooter" has pejorative a overtone, and we don't normally use it disambiguate sporting shooters. Per WP:BLP, I suggest changing the name to match other articles on paralympians like Greg Smith (Paralympian), Gary Hooper (Paralympian), Richard Oliver (Paralympian) and John Lindsay (Paralympian). Support – makes sense to me in this case. Most of the people disambiguated with "Paralympian" have participated in several sports, though.See below. Graham87 14:56, 14 July 2019 (UTC)- Move to Peter Worsley (sport shooter) which appears to be the preferred disambiguation per Category:Shooters at the 2015 European Games, Category:European Games medalists in shooting, Category:Asian Games medalists in shooting etc. See Peter Tait (sport shooter) for another Paralympic shooter. PC78 (talk) 17:49, 14 July 2019 (UTC)
- Move to Peter Worsley (sport shooter) as suggested by PC78. 521 pages use (sport shooter) as a disambiguator (other disambiguators like "shooter", "sports shooter", and "rifle shooter" are very rare, with occurrences in the single digits). Colin M (talk) 22:24, 14 July 2019 (UTC)
- Move to Peter Worsley (sport shooter) per above. Paintspot Infez (talk) 00:57, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
- Move to Peter Worsley (sport shooter), sounds like an even better option than what I wrote above. Graham87 02:26, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
- Seems fine to me too. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 03:04, 15 July 2019 (UTC)
- Support the form Peter Worsley (sport shooter) per PC78, Colin M, Paintspot Infez, Graham87 and Hawkeye7. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 16:02, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
