Removal of Link to Peugeot 407
editLink to spy shots were removed as they were not for Peugeot 308 rather the Peugeot 407, probably the confusion was because the 407 was not released at the time of the photos.
Link Removed:

DISPUTE: Fuel Economy World Record
editThe article says:
- "The Peugeot 308 currently holds the record of the most fuel efficient mainstream car, averaging 3.13 litres per 100km (90.75 mpg) over a distance of 14,580km."
But if:
- 100 kilometers = 62.137 miles
&
- 3.13 liters = 0.8269 gallons [US, liquid]
Then:
- 62.137 / 0.8269
=
- 75.14 mpg
And, NOT 90.75
Any other opinions?

- The article was from Australia, which, prior to metrication, used the imperial gallon. The imperial gallon, which was the standard measure for petrol (gasoline) in the UK and in most of the Commonwealth of Nations, and many other places prior to metrication, equals 4.54609 litres (1.20095 US gal). -- de Facto (talk). 09:55, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- THANKS! That makes sense. Now, where can I get one?
I have a different problem, that being that the cited mpg isn't as good as the 'previous' record holder the Citroen AX which holds a record of 2.7 L/100K (100IMPG) so the info should be removed unless there is another qualifier someone wants to add? The AX citation is the Guiness Book of Records.(Morcus (talk) 17:43, 20 February 2009 (UTC))
And then?
editHas Peugeot released information about the next 300? There was a Peugeot 309 so I guess it wouldn't be the same, just like BMW didn't release an M1. Peugeot 3009? --Fluence (talk) 16:32, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- This will be the Peugeot 301. They start again. Hektor (talk) 20:07, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, thanks :) --189.137.207.38 (talk) 17:59, 20 June 2009 (UTC)
