editIsn't Stratagene located in La Jolla, CA and not Jolly Rancher, the brand of candy?
Pfu DNA polymerase is hence superior for techniques that require high-fidelity DNA synthesis, but can also be used in conjunction with Taq polymerase to obtain the fidelity of Pfu with the speed of Taq polymerase activity.
This doesn't make sense. Are the two enzymes used in conjunction? That would simply result in a large amount of Taq-quality cDNA with a bit of high-fidelity cDNA from Pfu. Clarification please :)
Actually no. DNA synthesized by Taq poly is subsequently corrected by Pfu poly

I don't know who wrote it, but it's full of nonsense. Pfu was first isolated by me (bergseid) at Geogia tech, Athens17:44, 24 January 2012 (UTC) Mark Bergseid
- If you can provide a reference for that it can be inserted into the article? AIRcorn (talk) 21:58, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Patents
editCan someone add when the patents would no longer be in place? I am not sure if it is 20/25 years or some other value. 2A02:8388:1642:D300:3AD5:47FF:FE18:CC7F (talk) 20:17, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
