JWST will do this for mirror segment alignment
editJWST will be doing phase retrieval as part of the telescope mirror segment alignment process (active optics with wavefront sensing and control).[1] Has it been done on other astronomical telescopes, or is it only useful or required on multi-segment mirrors ? - Rod57 (talk) 10:26, 21 February 2022 (UTC)
